JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton Backcountry Alliance (TBCA), Wyoming Highway Patrol and Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) have collaborated to reopen parking at the weigh station on the west side of Teton Pass, according to a Facebook post.

Earlier this winter, WYDOT had closed all parking at the weigh station located on the west side of the Pass close to the state line. TBCA reached out to WYDOT to work toward reopening the parking lot.

Parking will only be permitted on the western side of the lot, and no parking is allowed to the east. Violators will be towed. There are new signs in place to delineate where parking is allowed.

“Please, please observe the parking signs to help keep our backcountry safe and accessible,” TBCA shared in a Facebook post.
