UPDATE, 11:25 p.m.: The Teton Pass reopened to traffic in both directions at 11:15 p.m., according to a WYDOT alert.

UPDATE, 5:30 p.m.: A fatal collision on Teton Pass Wednesday afternoon led to the closure of the highway.

An emergency page-out at 3:50 p.m. announced a collision with injuries on WY22 involving an RV rollover. One person was killed in the crash, and five passengers with injuries were being transported to St. John’s for treatment, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP). As of 5:15 p.m., WHP, Jackson Hole Fire/EMS and Teton County Sheriff’s Office were on the scene. The area was closed to traffic.

WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) notified drivers of a crash on WY22 on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 4:24 p.m.

“Travel lane blocked near Jackson at milepost 6.5,” the alert reads. “Be prepared to stop, expect delays.”
