Winter weather affecting Teton Pass

WILSON, Wyo. — WYDOT has closed Teton Pass to trailer traffic this morning.

The road is under a high impact level advisory. Travelers are advised to “use extreme caution, delay travel, or consider alternate route. If travel is necessary, slow down and allow extra time.”

Commuters have reported severe delays, minor accidents, and stand-still traffic heading east into Wilson.

WYDOT implemented a Level 1 Chain Law this morning, which restricted travel to vehicles with tire chains, adequate snow tires, or all-wheel-drive. The chain law has since been lifted, but caution is advised.
