JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club (JHSC) has been hosting one of the few (if not the last) open, non-sanctioned community downhill races since 1982.

In 2020, the race underwent a redesign and is now the Jackson Hole Downhill, a high-power, high-caliber event, which celebrates the sport and community of alpine ski racing in Jackson Hole and beyond.

The 2021 Jackson Hole Downhill is a three-day event taking place March 12-14 at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Racers will compete for cash and prizes on the renowned Crags-to-Moran racecourse off of Teton Lift at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

The event redesign added a high-stakes team component featuring some of the nation’s most elite ski racing pros. Invited pros for this year’s Jackson Hole Downhill include Daron Rahlves, Wiley Maple, Dustin Cook, Abby Ghent, Keith Moffat, Anna Marno and Brennan Rubie with more names to be announced.

The Jackson Hole Downhill, sponsored by FCExcavation, is open to anyone interested in experiencing the thrill of high-speed alpine racing. Individuals can register for up to three of the following divisions (excluding Junior division).
