Wilkinson talk on GYE tonight at library
JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Noted Western columnist and author Todd Wilkinson will give a presentation tonight at the library entitled: “Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem & Jackson Hole’s Place Within It.”
Wilkinson pens regularly for Mountain Journal. The Montana-based writer will discuss a recent article, “Unnatural Disaster: Will America’s Most Iconic Wild Ecosystem Be Lost To A Tidal Wave Of People?”
Population growth alone is changing Yellowstone National Park and stressing the entire GYE. What does it mean for Greater Yellowstone if Bozeman becomes Minneapolis-sized and Jackson Hole becomes an anchor for Salt Lake City-like sprawl?
Wilkinson will explore how climate change, population growth, and other changes might affect our region.
The free talk takes place at the Library’s Ordway Auditorium tonight at 6pm.
