TETON VALLEY, IDA – Firefighters reacted quickly yesterday to a wildfire in Game Creek on the Idaho side of the Tetons.
Interagency firefighters with assistance from Victor, Driggs, and Tetonia, as well as the Forest Service, fought the three-acre blaze that was likely started by a recent lightning strike and whipped up by gusty winds yesterday.
The fire was reported around 5pm. It was fully under control by 9:30pm. Structures were threatened but no damage was reported.
