In addition to offering a $2 per hour resort premium on top of base hourly wage, Whole Foods gives all Team Members a 20% in-store discount with an opportunity to increase that to 30% as part of their Healthy Discount Incentive Program. Four times a year they send select Team Member applicants to a week-long health getaway to help create and sustain healthy lifestyle changes. They pay 100% of the costs and 50% of a spouse’s costs if they would like to join.
Team Members have limitless opportunities to give back to the community at Whole Foods. Through the Whole Planet Foundation Team Member Volunteer Program, eligible Team Members can travel for 2 to 3 weeks to communities where Whole Foods Market sources products and funds microcredit clients. Through the Community Giving Program, Team Members have a voice in the organizations Whole Foods Market supports, allowing them to make a difference in their own neighborhoods. Each quarter, Whole Foods Market contributes to community-based nonprofit organizations with aligned missions and values.
