WILSON, Wyo. — According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT), a stalled semi is blocking the travel lane on Teton Pass near milepost 7.5. The alert came in this morning, Feb. 20 at 9:10 a.m.

No trailer traffic is permitted on Teton Pass from Nov. 15 through April 1 every winter.

Heavy snow and wind are creating dangerous travel conditions today, especially on Teton Pass. Chain Law Level 1 is currently in effect. According to the WYDOT website, travel impacts are currently rated as “High.” The recommended action is, “use extreme caution, delay travel or consider an alternate route. If travel is necessary, slow down and allow extra time.”
