JACKSON, Wyo. — On Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. Mountain Time, the National Park Service (NPS), The Corps Network and the National Park Foundation will host a virtual “Voices of Our Youth at 250: Journeys and Park Connections for Future Generations” event.

A celebration of the 110th birthday of the NPS and the 250th anniversary of the United States, the event looks to the younger generation and how the parks might be conserved and cared for in years to come.

The online gathering is part of National Park Week and it invites youth corps members, interns and volunteers to share how working in the parks shaped their paths and “connected them to America’s natural and cultural treasures.”
