JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson’s (TOJ) Engineering Department announced that a street patching project will close a section of Virginian Lane on Tuesday, July 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The section of roadway to close is adjacent to Elevated Living Interiors and near the intersection with West Broadway Ave. During the construction, all businesses will remain accessible.

“We will keep you updated on any major changes to the schedule as construction progresses,” the TOJ said in the announcement.
The TOJ asks pedestrians, bikers and drivers to avoid private property and to stick to marked detour routes. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes in the vicinity of this construction project. Additionally, travelers in the area are to reduce speed, follow lane shift routes and obey traffic flaggers’ directions in construction zones.
“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for safety and the safety of the construction workers,” the TOJ said.
The work schedule depends on a number of factors, including weather and material delivery. The TOJ recommends using the “map app” to access road closure information.
