JACKSON, Wyo. — This morning, START Bus announced “Transit” as its official app for trip planning and real-time information about buses in Jackson and the surrounding areas.
“Transit” provides real-time arrival information for all START routes including bus locations, arrival and departure times, notifications and alerts, route maps and a list of stops.
With the app, readers can easily access the following:
- Real-time bus locations and arrival times
- Notifications about rider alerts
- Route maps and next departure times
- A list of bus stops
- Trip planning
“Whether you are checking the status of your favorite bus or need step-by-step directions to get somewhere new, Transit and START have you covered!,” START said.
Also, beginning today, Jan. 31, START Bus patrons will automatically receive a free upgrade to ‘Transit Royale,’ to unlock leaderboards, avatars and access to all the app’s newest features.
How to use ‘Transit’:
Download the app below, and as soon as a user opens the app, it will use their location to pinpoint the bus routes closest to them.
Tip: Be sure to allow “Transit” to access your location data as you install the app.
