JACKSON, Wyo. — A traffic light at the intersection of Broadway and Millward was taken out by a semitruck on Sunday afternoon, according to the Jackson Police Department.

The truck was turning right onto Broadway from the truck route when it struck the light pole, Lt. Russ Ruschill confirmed to Buckrail. The pole fell to the ground. Officers responded to the scene around 3:25 p.m.

In the absence of the stoplight, officers set up temporary four-way stop signs. The Wyoming Department of Transportation was in the process of installing a temporary signal on Monday, according to Ruschill.

Wyoming Highway Patrol investigated the crash since a commercial motor vehicle was involved, at the request of the Jackson Police Department.
