JACKSON, Wyo. — In an effort to better inform the public about what to expect when snow hits the valley floor, the Town of Jackson has created maps with the streets and sidewalks that the community and visitors can rely on to be plowed within 24 hours of snow storms.

“We hope this helps people plan their winter routes as they move between work, home and play,” said the town.

In November 2022, the town announced that the public should expect plowing services to be reduced this winter due to staffing shortages.

“The Town of Jackson’s Public Works Department and the Town and County’s Parks & Rec Department have been working around the clock to respond to big snow events this winter,” said the Town. “This season, the level of service has been reduced, due to staffing shortages, and we’ve been incredibly impressed with all our crew has been able to plow.”
