JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson is accepting letters of application for the Housing Authority Board until Friday, Jan. 24, at 5 p.m.
According to the Town, one seat is available for a five-year term. This Board provides counsel to the Housing Manager on management of Housing Authority owned properties, reviews Critical Service Provider applications and hears appeals of decisions made by the Housing Manager. The Board also makes recommendations to Elected Officials concerning Housing Department policies.
Those interested should address application letters to the Mayor and Council and include interests, background and experience as they relate to serving on the Housing Authority Board. Email application letters to Town Clerk at clerk@jacksonwy.gov.
Special consideration will be given to applicants who have experience in real estate, banking, finance, restricted homeowners and working with underserved populations.
