JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson Engineering Department announced that the installation of a new turn lane for the development at 1060 South Park Loop Road began on Monday, Sept. 9 and the duration of the work will continue for approximately 30 days, weather dependent.

Crews will be creating the new turn lane near the Loop Apartments on the north side of South Park Loop Road west of Gregory Lane.

According to the Town, two-lane traffic with lane shifts will be in place between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again after 4 p.m. Traffic will shift to one-lane with flaggers alternating vehicles through the construction zone between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Flaggers will have two-way radio communication to assist with directing traffic.

Construction will be ongoing and the Town advises drivers to be alert, slow and cautious at all times. Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are advised to seek alternate routes in the vicinity of this construction activity. Updates will be provided as the work progresses.

“Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification, detour and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers,” Town said in the announcement.
