JACKSON, Wyo. — Summer thunderstorms are in the weekend forecast.

According to the National Weather Service, Jackson will see a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms between 2 and 3 p.m., with slightly lower chances for the rest of the afternoon. A high of 79° is expected along with windy conditions. Chances of storms will continue into the evening until about 10 p.m., when clear skies with a low around 47° are expected.

On Saturday, July 19, expect sunshine with a high around 79°, with chances of thunderstorms returning after noon, according to the weather service. Wind gusts are possible, too. Saturday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 47° again.

Sunday, July 20, is expected to be mostly sunny and breezy, with a high near 80°.
