TETON VALLEY, IDA – Teton Valley Ski Education Foundation (TVSEF) recently welcomed Bridget Misch into the Executive Director position, effective July 16.
TVSEF is a nonprofit snowsports organization in Teton Valley that provides affordable winter sports programs for young athletes to meet their individual potential for excellence through education and opportunity for competition.
“I am extremely excited to be in this new role. I am most looking forward to sharing my talents to help move the organization forward and learning more about the world of competitive snowsports,” Misch said.
Misch is a Wisconsin native who comes to the organization with a background in nonprofit management. As a skier herself, she is passionate about the mission of the organization in providing greater access to snowsports for all children in the Teton Valley.
Misch’s background in developing a volunteer program and event management will undoubtedly be an asset to the organization as TVSEF focuses on building organizational capacity through increased communications, enhanced fundraising and coach support.
TVSEF Board Chair, Abbi Sarthou, commented, “We at TVSEF believe Bridget’s organizational skills and experience in nonprofit management will be advantageous in moving the organization forward.”
Misch recently completed her Masters of Business Administration from Viterbo University. She also holds Bachelor’s degrees from DePaul University in Performing Arts Management and Vocal Performance. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Teton Valley, working on jigsaw puzzles, and singing and playing piano.
