DRIGGS, Idaho — Responsible dog ownership will be the theme for May’s Community Conversation hosted by Driggs Mayor August Christensen, the City of Driggs announced Wednesday.
Representatives from the Teton County (Idaho) Sheriff’s Department, PAWS Animal Shelter, Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and Aska’s Animals will be on hand to discuss safe dog-walking practices in the community.
“With warmer temperatures coming day by day, so too will unleashed dogs,” the Driggs newsletter reads. “It is imperative that we all work together to keep our community safe for all to walk, run and bike on our pathways, sidewalks, roads and trails.”
The public is invited to join the discussion at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at the Driggs City Center Building.
