Teton Pass scheduled for closure tonight at 6pm

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Wyoming Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of Teton Pass for Sunday December 30 at 6pm for avalanche control.

Should expected conditions worsen before then the pass could close sooner. No parking is allowed at the summit of Teton Pass/Coal Creek. This will be strictly enforced prior to closure. Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.
