JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Beginning today, no trailer traffic of any kind is allowed over Teton Pass.

The trailer ban is in effect from November 15 through April 1 regardless of weather or road conditions.

While most people think of semi-tractor trailers as primarily affected by the closure, any tow behind trailer including cargo trailers, campers, boats, and horse trailers are not allowed on Highway 22 over Teton Pass.

Wyoming Highway Patrol will be beefing up patrol of the area in response to the seasonal closure. Any vehicle with a trailer caught accessing Teton Pass will be found in violation of running a road closure and be subject to fines.

Check Wyoming Department of Transportation website for more information and alternate routes.
