MOOSE, Wyo. — Friday, March 14, will be the final day of grooming for Teton Park Road, Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) has announced.
The road is closed to vehicles annually from November 1 to April 30. Winter recreators have been making use of the groomed trail from Taggart Lake Junction to Signal Mountain to hike, ski, snowshoe, skate-ski and more. GTNP shared the following image to help remind trail users of multi-use etiquette.
“As clearing operations begin in the coming weeks, watch for plows and other snow removal equipment,” GTNP posted. “Give them plenty of space while continuing to recreate safely.”
Teton Park Road is expected to open to vehicles for visitor season in May.
