JACKSON, Wyo. — The 69th Annual Teton County Fair is underway, and the Fair
Board shared some “know before you go” tips.
The Teton County Fair has a variety of events, shows and programming that are free of charge. The Big Top Tent has a line-up of free live music entertainment in the late afternoon, Wednesday, July 23 through Sunday, July 27. The 4-H livestock barn is open throughout the week, showcasing Grand Champion steers, pigs, chickens and more.
There is no general admission fee to enter the fair, but rides require a ticket. Food and beverage vendors at the evening fair events only take cash as payment. Credit cards will be accepted at designated booths only.
Fairgoers are strongly encouraged to bike, walk or take the bus to the Fairgrounds. There is a bike corral in the southeast corner of the Grassy Arena, just outside the Big Top Tent. Parking is extremely limited, especially on Saturday due to horse events and the need for horse trailer parking.
Attendees are encouraged “think green” and reduce waste by bringing a reusable bottle that can be filled at water stations found in the Grassy Arena near the Big Top Tent.
To accommodate a variety of events during the fair, the Mateosky ballfield is closed until Monday, July 28. The public is invited to watch events in the ballfield at no cost.
Teton County Fair Office hours have been extended for fair week, with normal office hours resuming on Tuesday, July 29.
