JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Library’s Understanding Tech series is set to present about AI’s reach in online tools and websites on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Ordway Auditorium.

As experts who helped build the technology warn about the pace of AI’s advancement, the Teton County Library is offering locals a chance to get a better handle on how to use those tools responsibly.

Jack Graig-Tiso of JH Computer Clinic will lead the talk, coined “Understanding Tech: How to limit AI’s reach in your digital life.” The presentation will cover how deeply AI is now embedded in common tools, how it’s reshaping the internet more broadly and practical steps people can take to limit how much it is used in their own digital lives. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions.

Upcoming sessions in the series will tackle malware and scams, online privacy, buying a computer and backing up data.

The program is free and open to the public.
