JACKSON, Wyo. — Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour premiered in Jackson over the weekend and the Swifties came out in full force to the concert experience at Jackon Hole MovieWorks Cinema.

“This past weekend all Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour shows were sold out or very close to sold out,” Meg Reeder, MovieWorks Cinema manager said. “The energy was great!”

The movie opened Friday, Oct. 13 and MovieWorks had two showtimes, one at 7:30 p.m. and one at 7:40 p.m.

The nearly three-hour-long concert movie showcased one of Swift’s last U.S. Eras tour stops in Los Angeles. Swift performed music from all 10 of her albums, with countless costume changes, set changes and different choreography for every song. The experience in the theater was different than other movie screenings with people dressed up in sequin dresses, out of their seats singing along and dancing.

The film will play four consecutive weekends at MovieWorks and tickets for the third and fourth weekends go on sale Oct. 17. Reeder said that ticket availability for the upcoming screenings varies depending on showtimes.
