JACKSON, Wyo. — This week the Town of Jackson has offered services to help with residents’ fall cleanup.

Jackson Hole Fire/EMS will be hosting a pumpkin drop n’ smash at the Rodeo Fairgrounds on Friday, Nov. 4. From 4-6 p.m. residents can bring their jack-o-lanterns, and with the help of JH Fire/EMS the pumpkins will be dropped from an aerial latter, and aim for targets below.

The one-day residential yard waste drop-off will also take place on Friday, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Fairgrounds.

Free Yard Waste Bags – Available Now at the following locations:

  • Town Hall – 150 E. Pearl 
  • Public Administration Building – 450 West Snow King
  • Recycling Center – 3270 S. Adams Canyon Road

Trash Transfer Station Drop Off

  • Oct. 31 – Nov. 5.
  • First 500 pounds free.
  • Residential yard waste only. No trash.

Town Burn Week

  • Oct. 29 – Nov. 6.
  • Call 307-733-2331 prior to burning.
  • Only clean wood, branches and leaves. No Trash.

The Trash Transfer Station will also be changing to it’s winter hours starting Monday, Nov. 7. Weekday operation hours will be from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Saturday hours remain the same year-round, open 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
