SUBLETTE COUTY, WYO – Slick road conditions are being blamed on a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 191 yesterday morning.
Sublette County Unified Fire responded to the report of a vehicle in the Hoback River. Initially, emergency responders thought the swift water rescue team may have to be called on but upon arriving at the scene first responders found the vehicle’s only occupant was safely out of the vehicle and the river thanks to the help of passersby.
Resources from Sublette County Fire Battalions 3 (Bondurant) and 5 (Daniel), Sublette County Search and Rescue, Sublette County EMS and Sublette County Sheriff’s office all responded.
The driver sustained minor injuries after the vehicle encountered slick road conditions, skidded off the highway and rolled onto its side in the Hoback River.
