WILSON, Wyo. — The action never stops for Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) volunteers who have been busy responding to multiple backcountry incidents in the last couple of days.
Most recently, TCSAR was dispatched to an individual who needed assistance from a mountain biking injury on Teton Pass.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon involved a female who had crashed on the Fuzzy Bunny trail and reported severe pain in her shoulder, flank, abdomen and spine.
“TCSAR dispatched with teams in two SAR vehicles directly up the Old Pass Road,” said TCSAR Foundation.
“Once arrived at the patient, the team assessed her injuries and packaged her for transport in the wheeled litter. After wheeling her less than a half mile, the team transferred her to a waiting ambulance.”
The rescue mission was completed in 2 hours and 41 minutes.
