JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Middle School (JHMS) students will aim for up and over the rim during the annual Elks Hoop Shoot contest on Saturday, Dec. 14.

The Jackson Hole Elks Lodge hosts the free basketball event at the JHMS. The local Hoop Shoot contest is open to all youth ages 8 to 13.

Registration at the JHMS opens at 10:30 a.m. and the free throw contest begins at 11 a.m.

The winners of the Hoop Shoot will go on to compete in the Wyoming State Competition on Feb. 2, 2025 in Casper. Young basketball players from across the state will then have the chance to compete at the national contest.
