JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson START Bus has put out a community survey to gather feedback about current and planned bus routes, as well as future ideas for transportation and ridesharing.
In the survey, START offers two options that could replace the current Town Shuttle route. Both of these options would serve Snow King Avenue from Scott Lane to Willow Street, which is a segment currently only served by the Teton Village Local bus.

The two Town Shuttle route options would operate between the Jackson Hole High School and Miller Park, connecting shopping hubs like Smith’s, Albertsons and Target with the library, Snow King, St. John’s Health and East Jackson. This would eliminate the need to change buses when traveling between the High School and Snow King, as current maps depict.
Other survey questions relate to Teton Village services being extended, airport route schedules, START Vanpool, START On-Demand, START Bike and a carshare program.
START is contemplating expanding its popular On-Demand service to a South Park Zone, which includes Rafter J and Melody Ranch. START On-Demand currently operates as a free, on-demand rideshare program within downtown Jackson and East Jackson.
