JACKSON, Wyo. — Next week, St. John’s Health will be hosting two free virtual health talks for the community on Jan. 5 and Jan. 6.

Health is a Mindset

The first talk, Health is a Mindset, will be hosted by Dr. Alexandra Flis.

Dr. Alexandra Flis, is the Medical Director of St. John’s Health Physical Rehabilitation and Associate Program Director for the University of Utah Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In her talk, she will share the lessons she’s learned as a trauma rehabilitation physician, and ways that lifestyle and community play essential roles in recovering from traumatic injury.

Augmented Reality and Spine Surgery

The second talk, from Dr. Chris Hills, will discuss Augmented Reality and Spine Surgery. Dr. Hills will talk about ways that computerized navigation is now being used to perform spine surgery at St. John’s Health.
