JACKSON, Wyo. — St. John’s Health (SJH) has announced the arrival of the first baby born in 2026!

According to a Monday Facebook post by SJH, baby boy Connor was born to parents Kelsey Mitchell and James Varn, of Driggs, Idaho. Connor was born at 11:10 a.m. on Jan. 2 and weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces. He measured 20.5 inches in length. Connor was welcomed home by his big brother Rowan. The St. John’s Health Foundation presented the family with a special gift basket.

The baby was delivered under the care of Dr. Lofaro and the team from Paintbrush Pediatrics.
