JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation announced Friday that it would be closing the access road to the South Park Boat Ramp on Thursday, Nov. 9, to perform tree removal work.

The river ramp will be inaccessible to river users hoping to launch boats or dock during daylight hours, but the upper parking lot and restrooms will still be accessible. Work might continue on Friday, Nov. 10, but river access is expected to be restored by then.

“Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation is working to make access to the ramp safe for users and appreciates the community’s understanding,” Parks and Rec. said in its press release.

Those with questions are encouraged to contact Parks Superintendent Andy Erskine at aerskine@tetoncountywy.gov.
