UPDATE 3:08 p.m.: As of 3:03 p.m., WYDOT has canceled the alert for an avalanche blocking lanes on US89 at milepost 149.
JACKSON, Wyo. — A snow slide has blocked three travel lanes on US89 about a mile south of Smith’s Food and Drug near Lockhart Ranch.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has confirmed that one lane is open alternating in each direction. The snow is about 10-15 feet high across the road.
