JACKSON, Wyo. – Installation of a new snowmaking pipe and sewer lines on Snow King Mountain will cause a temporary closure of the Sink or Swim trail for approximately one week, said the resort today.

The popular hiking trail that runs across the Exhibition ski run will be closed to public access from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Citing high rockfall hazards in the area, the local hill said the run will reopen as soon as work is complete but will then have to close another section of the mountain for continued work.

“Once this section is completed, we will open Sink or Swim and close the Shade Monkey section that is on the ski run for the same duration…We apologize for the inconvenience,” said the resort.
