JACKSON, Wyo. — Snow King Mountain has opened for ski season as of Friday, Dec. 8.
The Cougar lift, base area Magic Carpet, Cowboy Coaster and Scenic Gondola are all operational for visitors. More facilities are expected to open as snowpack increases, according to reps for the resort.
“Uphill travel is limited to begin and uphill passes are required,” Snow King Mountain said via Facebook post.
More snow should arrive this weekend, according to Buckrail meteorologist Alan Smith.
