JACKSON, Wyo. — Engineer, comedian, author and inventor Bill Nye joins Snow King Mountain for the grand opening of the Snow King Observatory and Planetarium.
Join in on an afternoon of humor and intellectual curiosity as Bill Nye the Science Guy solves some of the world’s most complex challenges through science. And be the first to explore the brand new Observatory and Planetarium facility.
A ticket will include a speech and Q&A from Bill Nye, a planetarium experience and access to the Gondola. When purchasing tickets, select a time for a mesmerizing star show in the Planetarium. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the facility. Experts will be stationed to answer any questions. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
A very limited number of tickets will be available for guests to return to the Snow King Observatory and Planetarium on grand opening night. Be among the first to experience the wonders of space at night in the new facility. A nighttime experience includes three hours of captivating astronomy. View the universe through the one-meter observatory-class telescope and smaller telescopes on the observing deck. Image galaxies, star clusters and nebulae in the control center or take a night sky tour in the planetarium. Tickets also provides access to view the solar system through the Science On a Sphere exhibit, plus more. See the universe with amazing views and astrophysics at the King!
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. A small number of tickets for this exclusive event featuring Bill Nye will be available for $50. The evening add-on is available for $100. The event is expected to sell out very quickly.
