Snow King asks community to name new ski runs and lift

JACKSON, Wyo. — With new ski runs and a lift to open for the 2021/22 winter season, Snow King Mountain has asked the community to help come up with some clever names for the mountain’s latest additions.

The staff chosen winner will not only receive bragging rights but also a free season pass to the mountain.

“Help us name our new ski runs and lift, and win a free season pass! We have two new runs on the front of the mountain to name, the back bowl runs, beginner runs, magic carpets, and the backside lift,” said Snow King Mountain.

“If you come up with something our team approves then we will reach out with a season pass. We may not use any or we may choose multiple winners, the first to post a winning name will get the award.”

The mountain encourages interested parties to submit their names soon, as they already have a few top contenders.

“We have a few top contenders already that you need to beat out with your name: Sunny Side for the lift on the back, and Shady Lady for our new steepest run on the mountain off the East Peak.”

To submit a name for the new runs and lift, comment on Snow King’s Facebook post here.

Construction on Snow King Mountain has been an ongoing process this summer. To read more about the progress made in recent months click here.
