JACKSON, Wyo. —With 168 inches of snow so far this season, Snow King Mountain has seen some of its best skiing conditions in recent years…and winter isn’t over yet.

As Jackson has grown quite the reputation for being an expensive place to visit, the King has maintained its promise to locals: affordable fun for everyone.

Day lift tickets at Snow King Mountain are just $75, and folks can get their entire family outfitted with rental equipment and lessons without breaking the bank.  

Skiing the hometown hill

Skiers will find beginner to expert terrain with more than 500 skiable acres, three lifts, a brand-new gondola, three Magic Carpets and 41 named runs. While Snow King Mountain may look steep, it boasts terrain for all abilities including a beginner zone at the summit with stunning views, awesome intermediate terrain on the backside, an easy way down the mountain, as well as some great steep runs. Local’s can bring their family and friends and find something for everyone.

The back side of Snow King includes intermediate terrain, a beginner learning area at the summit with two Magic Carpets, and an easy run that gets you from the top of the mountain to the base.

Snow tubing in Jackson Hole is a unique winter activity for the whole family to get out and enjoy the snow. King Tubes features snow tubes, three smooth groomed lanes and a Magic Carpet to take you up the hill. All you have to bring are warm clothes and a need for speed!

Non-skiers can also enjoy the Snow King Triple Play pass that includes a scenic gondola ride, an hour of snow tubing and an hour on the Cowboy Coaster. Race nearly a mile of twists and turns as the Cowboy Coaster zooms down the snow covered hillside.

Close the season out with a bang at the King and check out the World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb where you will experience one of the most amazing motorsports competitions in the world. Better yet, spectators can watch it all while skiing or riding the mountain.
