SNAPPED: Sunset over a ghost town

JACKSON, Wyo. — Even during the off-season, Jackson streets are seldom empty. During normal times, town is buzzing with athletes, shoppers, diners, and drinkers. But these are not normal times.

Jackson hunkering down to help slow the spread of COVID-19, and town is eerily quiet. Ryan Halverson of Full Room Productions captured a breathtaking and chilling sunset over a completely empty town.

Halverson shot much of the footage with a drone, but noted he would never normally fly a drone through town.

“Due to lack of people and vehicles it made it possible to capture some images of our streets in rare circumstances,” Halverson wrote. “Please do not attempt when our town is normal.”

The short film ends on an encouraging note: stay strong. “We got this, Jackson.”
