JACKSON, Wyo. — Twenty-five salvaged Snow King Summit lift chairs have been repurposed as colorful benches and swings to form a walking corridor from downtown Jackson to the Snow King summit.

The project is a collaboration between Snow King Resort, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Town of Jackson and Jackson Hole Public Art. Installation of the new public art project began on Thursday.

“This project celebrates Jackson’s unique cultural identity, history and people by elevating local ski culture, its heritage and our landscape,” said Jackson Hole Public Art. “The installations will provide a place to be outdoors, relax, connect and discover the history of Snow King Mountain.”
