JACKSON, Wyo. — Tomorrow, Snow King Mountain will open with limited operations due to the warm and dry weather patterns that have hindered snowfall from reaching the valley floor.

The mountain originally planned to open for the season on Dec. 4, 2021, but only recently did evening temperatures allow for successful snowmaking to take place. Despite the setback, the mountain announced last week that it would open with limited operations tomorrow, Dec. 11, 2021.

On Saturday, the Magic Carpet will be open for lessons at the base of the mountain and SK anticipates it will open the Cougar Lift soon thereafter.

In the meantime, the Cowboy Coaster is now open daily for the winter season from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
