JACKSON, Wyo. — There’s no better way to celebrate spooky season than with some good ol’ pumpkin carving. Buckrail readers shared photos of their Jack-o’-lanterns, some of which are Jackson-themed.
From an iconic cowboy to classic triangle eyes and jagged teeth, these pumpkins show off valley residents’ creative side.

And we can’t forget the spooky decor!

If you need some pumpkin carving inspiration for next Halloween, check out these templates from Grand Teton National Park and last year’s reader submissions.
“When living in bear country, never leave a pumpkin outside overnight or while you’re away. Pumpkins left outside are an unnatural food source and can be a factor in habituation for bears and other animals,” said the National Park Service.
Happy Halloween from the Buckrail team!
