JACKSON, Wyo. — Palates and Palettes is a staple of Fall Arts Festival.
More than 20 local galleries were expected to participate in the event that pairs art and creativity with palate-pleasing refreshments. The free event took place on Friday, Sept. 5, kicking off the first weekend of Fall Arts Festival.

Art lovers meandered around downtown, admiring paintings, sculptures and live music. Local chefs and food producers blended sophistication with creativity in their sweet and savory offerings.
Astoria Fine Art served up family-friendly root beer floats; Altamira Fine Art and Heather James Fine Art offered food catered by Teton Tiger; and some galleries chose to self-cater their curated exhibitions.
