TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Ski season is here!
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) welcomed skiers and snowboarders onto the mountain on Friday, Nov. 29. Buckrail’s Caroline O’Neill was on hand to snap photos of the big day.

O’Neill said it was a bustling day on the mountain, with skiers and riders excited to be out enjoying the sunny day.

Ahead of opening day, JHMR reported that continuous snowmaking, 52 inches of snowfall on the summit and 27 inches of snowfall mid-mountain had created “coverage across much of the north side of the resort.”

JHMR cautioned visitors to be mindful of early season conditions, to stay out of closed areas and to watch for hazards. As more snow arrives, the resort expects to open more lifts.

Happy skiing!
