WILSON, Wyo. — After several dry weeks, all of those snow dances have paid off.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer headed up Mt. Glory on Thursday morning to check out the fresh pow.
According to Buckrail Meteorologist Alan Smith, there might be a lull in precipitation for the next few days, followed by a bit more action.
“The pattern continues to look active during the second half of next week, and possibly even into the last week of February, which is great news for skiers and riders,” he wrote Wednesday evening.
Along with the boon to winter recreationalists, the new snow has restored the classic snowglobe look to the region.

Backcountry users, remember to remain vigilant: New snow on top of icy crusts leads to heightened avalanche danger.
