JACKSON, Wyo. — The layout of the St. John’s Episcopal Church campus downtown is undergoing a major change.

The building housing the church’s Browse ‘n Buy thrift store has been demolished to make way for the construction of a new, expanded facility, which was approved by Town Council in August. Browse ‘n Buy shared photos of “demo day” to its social media channels.

“The next chapter begins,” Browse ‘n Buy captioned the photos. “The walls have come down at Browse ’n Buy, making way for a fresh start. [Green heart emoji.] Demo day was a big step — heavy trucks, hard hats, and a whole lot of history in the dust. We’re saying goodbye to what was, and getting ready for what’s next: a renewed space to serve our Jackson community even better. Stay tuned as we share the rebuild journey — brick by brick, story by story.”

During the transition, shoppers can visit the mercantile at 160 N. Glenwood St.
