SNAPPED: Adaptive athletes on ice

JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Adaptive Sports offers more than skiing.

Thanks to partners like Jackson Hole Moose Hockey, TAS offers four seasons of sports accessibility. So far this winter, TAS and the Jackson Hole Moose Hockey Team have hosted seven Sunday sessions of sled hockey and skating for people of all ages and abilities at the Snow King Event Center.

TAS brings sleds, gear, and structure. Moose hockey players bring the skills and the stoke. Ice is split up into three sections, including a competitive section for the more serious hockey players. Some athletes travel all the way from Rexburg to play.

There are still two chances left to play! TAS and the Moose will be on the ice February 9 and 23 from 1:45–3:15 p.m. Ice time begins at 2:15 p.m. sharp. Volunteers are asked to come a 1 p.m. to help set up.
