JACKSON, Wyo. — Thousands of spectators gathered at Snow King Mountain this past weekend for the 46th Annual World Championship Hill Climb hosted by the Jackson Hole Snow Devils.
The event is a snowmobile race that involves snowmobilers racing up a steep, narrow course to the summit of Snow King, which rises 1,500 vertical feet above the town of Jackson.
This year, the race returned to its original course on the Exhibition run, where it had been held for about 40 years. Last year, the course temporarily changed and was held on the Cougar run and then up Wolverine.
