Smoke in Wilson is on purpose

WILSON, Wyo. — Seeing smoke near Teton Pass?

That’s scheduled. Bridger-Teton National Forest is taking advantage of this weather window to conduct pile burns.

Firefighters are currently burning hand piles in the Black Canyon area near the base of Teton Pass.

Dispatch is aware of the burn. No cause for alarm.
