JACKSON, Wyo. — Snow King ski patrol will conduct avalanche mitigation tomorrow between 6-7 p.m., according to a press release issued by the Town of Jackson this evening.
“Out of an abundance of caution the ski patrol will detonate explosives on the Wolverine ski run in an effort to mitigate potential avalanche hazards during operating hours,” states the release.
The town cited warming temperatures and hill climb being the first large event of the season.
The mitigation efforts are only expected to last a short duration of time.
Questions can be directed to Snow King Mountain, (307) 201-5464.
